Epi Essentials for Public Health Practitioners provides training for public health professionals in the management of routine disease outbreaks and provides them with tools to manage basic outbreak information.
After reviewing this product, public health professionals should be able to:
- Describe the elements included in an outbreak investigation line listing and successfully complete the "Managing Case Information" post-test.
- Describe the basic elements and function of an epidemic curve and successfully complete the "Creating an Epidemic Curve" post-test.
- Identify and describe techniques and best practices for interviewing cases and contacts during an outbreak investigation and successfully complete the "Interviewing Techniques" post-test.
